Liverpool V Chelsea

I thought about making it "shport" in general, but I really don't care about the others.

Trinity Hall is open bright and early at 6:30am for coverage. Sounds exciting, eh?

sounds good, but it's a local derby today - Eastleigh v Salisbury. Last time I went there we got stuffed 3.0 but we beat them in the cup earlier in the year and should have a good chance of winning again.

It's a bit of a comical derby, only really seen rivalry for the last 4-5 seasons as historically we've been playing at a higher level but there's no love lost between the teams or the fans. Apparently some youths from each town were planning a rumble on some hoolie website but posted their photos on it so the stewards now know who to eject.

Anyway, must go build a bonfire....

I'm not sure why I suggested this. I knew I'd never make it.

i saw the hilights this morning.

then watched the portsmouth game. exciting, unlucky result though. I wish Americans would watch those kinds of games and not the slow boring world cup games.

1.0 to the Salisbury, with a goal that seemed to go in slow motion from our vantage point behind the other goal - video replay here

yeah, and it blew my result of 1-1 in our office league, taking three points away from me.

Good match for Arsenal, but it comes with a heavy price: Van Persie looks to be out for a considerable amount of time with a broken toe.
