RIP Alex Chilton

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

RIP Alex Chilton

Rock and Roll Is Here To Stay...

:( I know there have been a lot of WTF deaths of great songwriters lately, but this one takes the cake. This just ruined my year, and perhaps my decade. One of the greatest songwriters in history and frontman to one of the greatest bands ever. Ahead of their time, and songs that still sound just as fresh today as they did in 1971. A world of influence on music everyone loves now too.

This sucks.

I think that every contemporary band I have ever loved has credited Big Star as an influence.
