St. Vincent (Annie Clark)

Music, movies, entertainment, etc. Because James wanted it (and seems like a pretty good idea)

St. Vincent ~ Marry Me

Any good? From what I've read it sounds interesting, but I've yet to actually hear anything.

It's a pretty good record. I'm not her biggest fan, but it's enjoyable in a Regina Spektor kind of way.

I love it; I'm actually listening to it right now. I think tracks 2, 3, 4, 8, and 10 are the best.

The other two records I'm flipping out on this week are Of Montreal's Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? and M.I.A.'s Kala.

hissing fauna is one of my most played albums in itunes. the combo of "cato as a pun" to "heimdalsgate..." to "gronlandic exit" to "a sentence of sorts..." KILLS me. i have conceptual dance flying out every orifice when i listen to it.
dread stuff

You better clean that up when you're done.

This album is a top 5 of the year for me. Something I didn't get about her before, I'm totally getting with this record. There's something a little Kate Bush-esque about it.
