Help me decide what to tell my boss when I call in sick tomorrow, please.

I went with the unplanned day. Keep it vague.

I usually opt to tell someone from work discreetly that I have a bad case of the shits...that is something no boss can argue with...how is she gonna prove that you don't?!

You have to pray to yr Sun God perhaps? but since that wasn't an option I went for "unplanned day"...

I always give them the least possible information. Starting with "I'm not going to be in today." Our receptionist doesn't give a crap about why. Then on to the actual excuse, as required.

i'm calling in sick tomorrow too (as i did today). granted, i really am sick, but it'll be fun to be sick buddies. plus, sick is always the best excuse and easiest to fake. just put on sad/just woke up voice and say you have food poisoning. then put them on hold while you "puke" then continue to say you cant come in. simple.

With a whopping 44% of the votes before I go to bed, "Unplanned day" it is.

Thanks everyone.

Get well, Dalya.
