Everything. I need a vacation.

What's your favourite English phrase/word that isn't in the American lexicon?

Ooh, I don't know, there are lots. I like to say "jog on!" but if more people said it I don't think it would be as fun. I like "mate," and "oy" kinda thrown in randomly is fun. I like "pram" and "full stop" too, but I'm glad we don't have all those confusing names for lawyers & that Americans don't say "cunt" as often.

Have you ever worked for a company while a major portion of the work force was on strike?

no. the only place with a union i've ever worked was at the theater and if an actor is cast, they hold onto that role with all their claws firmly sunk in. they're pretty aware any role can be recast.

how do you feel about unions?

Meh. I was pretty pro-union until I actually worked with them. In theory they make a lot of sense, in practice the ones I've worked with just turn every little decision into a struggle. They tend to foster an adversarial relationship between their members and management, because then their members have more loyalty to the union. A union member I knew (not in my company) swore to me that the union got him the right to leave work during business hours to vote in the presidential election. He absolutely would not believe me when I told him that was a federally guaranteed right.

Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip?

you talking about db?

depends on the situation. now that I know how unhealthy those things are i don't get them as often. but mustard and mayo on a sandwich is good. miracle whip on a sandwich with brisket is damn good. also miracle whip and american cheese sandwich. this makes me realize i haven't had mw in years.

do you feel bad when you own a door to door salesman when they try to tell you that they can give you such a better deal than what you're already paying on electricity?

Not DB. Also, I ALWAYS feel bad for door to door salesmen in the summer, whether I own them or even talk to them. That is a serious bitch of a way to make a living.

Ever been a salesman, or on commission at all?

Much to Amy's regret, I'm not a pet person but I did have a share in a goldfish a while ago.

It was a movie a few weeks ago -- Bridesmaids. Some lady friends and I got the last 3 seats in the front row. It was pretty sweet though. It was in an AMC Cinema Suite where we had giant leather recliner chairs and they brought out hot towels when we got our checks for the meal. Crazy!

What am I missing with Spotify?
