delightful. we went to jason's aunt and uncle's place and hung out with the fam. we birthed the revenger, which is cousin daniel's cowboy alter ego. we also killed a lot of zombies.

what are your plans for christmas?

Well, since me and Asia have been together, we have been doing gift exchanges on Xmas eve at her fathers, not changing this year.

Xmas day, a double dose of Jeff bridges with True Grit and Tron: Legacy! Probably visit with my mother and Aunt afterward.

What are your NYE plans? I'm going to the Flaming Lips New Years Freak-out in Oklahoma, third year in a row!

Some friends invited me over for like a low-key get together kinda thing. I'm 90% sure those friends were Robbie & Kim. So I'm either going to a get together or I'm showing up uninvited at Robbie & Kim's.

You thinking about going to see Cake on the 30th? :]

not even a little. i had a roommate in college whom i loved but who played cake into the ground for me. someone overplaying something you only marginally like ad nauseum will make you hate it right quick.

what do you think is the most overplayed song right now? do you like it or do you want to claw your eyes out when you hear it?

Cee-Lo's "Fuck You." I actually really like it and not just because it says "fuck you" a lot.

Do you think today's FIFA announcement was delayed because Sepp Blatter was trying to take care of a dead Russian hooker in his room (one of the only reasons I think Russia got it for 2018)?

"Gill's All Fright Diner" by Dallas writer A. Lee Martinez and "Fablehaven: Keys to the Demon Prison" by Brandon Mull

Anybody know of a DFW area band that wants to play a show at City Tavern on Saturday? (aside from Les Americains since they are already on the bill)

Most plans are around the things I consume. I will indulge on soda 01-01-11 and then avoid them the rest of the year. Plan on remaining vegan for the year as well.

Could you go a year without beer?
