SMU vs SF Dons

Postby roach » Thu Nov 17, 2005 4:51 pm

Anyone up for some college soccer on Friday?
SMU ain't lookin all that good(they lost a few good players who would be good for them now, Nunez to Dallas and Kenny Cooper to Man U and some otheres I can't be bothered with now) so yeah.

there's the details. remember, you CAN sneak beer in. Not sure if it costs to get in, probably a couple bucks.

where is that motherforker!??!

its walking distance from his work and now that it's cold outside it's a lot easier to sneak beers in... big jackets just look odd when it's 70 outside.

That's when you stuff your pants, not your coats.

I do have a flask that can get me through the game. and I've been looking for another reason to stop drinking whiskey. screaming bad bad old man things at 18 year olds could be that thing I've been looking for.

does anyone have an extra flask funnel? maybe I'll check out my local booze seller and see if they sell just the funnel.

I prefer drinking events sans the college sports (and preferably indoors).

It's nice to see that The Overlord joined this forum too. Wouldn't be the same without him.

I remember my aunt, a long time San Franciscan, telling me that the University of San Francisco was an urban legend. If you didn't want to admit you never went to college, you could tell people that was where you went and they would get it without embarassing you. Apparently, my aunt likes to lie to me. I shouldn't be suprised.

I can do it!

I even picked a pint at lunch. It felt really odd picking up my packet for the Turkey Trot at Luke's with a bottle of scotch in my pocket. Maybe that could be the fuel that will get me through the race on cold November morning?
