My current favorite new-to-me album is only five years old! Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will - Mogwai

Re: New shirts?

I like the idea of a Manx shirt, three spinning forks or something.

Like this?

Slightly fascist looking, probably shouldn't admit I like it.

Re: TCU/Baylor smack talk

I too think Oregon and Bama reach the NC game after big wins. I wouldn't want to put money on that game but maybe would favor Oregon by 4.5 or something like that. Who can the Big 12 add that will actually increase the strength of the other teams' schedules? Colorado State, Tulsa, U of H, SMU? Maybe...

Re: TCU/Baylor smack talk

The answer for Big XII fans is in: go undefeated or win a conference championship game. I wonder how long it takes for them to pick up two more teams.

Re: Metal \m/

I remember hearing some buzz about The Sword a few years ago. They do have some awesome super-heavy riffs. Like so many other bands, they forget the AC/DC principle, if you do one thing really, really well, you don't have to do anything else. Not that I think AC/DC is that great, but they sure as he...

I don't think Tool counts as metal but I'm not sure why.

Re: Metal \m/

I never had a very broad taste for metal and now it is just the occasional Metallica throw-back. I do still like it loud.

Re: I started a Facebook page purely out of spite.

Miami & South Florida will be destroyed by storm surges way sooner than in 100 years. Maybe it'll be Hurricane Fidel that deals the death-blow. That'd be fun.

He played in the final, so maybe "torn" was a bit of an exaggeration.

WC Ouchie

Hear what happened to Mascherano? Torn anus! :!: I didn't even know that was possible. Holy hell that sounds like the worst thing ever, or second worse, but still really bad. Also, he has a concussion, but FIFA's still playing by the 1950s, rub some dirt on it rules on that.
